About

My family decided to go on the GAPS diet after my husband had a bad flair-up of acid reflux and several diverticulitis attacks. I had looked at the diet a year before because one of my daughters had an issue with wheat and was beginning to show signs of other problems as she aged.  So we looked into the GAPS and SCD diets and decided to give it a try.  Within a very short time, my husband saw and felt improvement.  After a lifetime of intestinal issues, it was amazing how quickly he felt better. After a few months on the diet he had a colonoscopy and was told that he had no problems.  As the weeks and months ticked by, my daughter also began to realize that she had energy again.  The rest of the family while not as dramatic can also report areas of improvement.  Let me encourage you, these diets are worth the time and effort they require.

The acid reflux has completely gone away on the diet.
